VoyageAI is an AI-powered travel planning assistant that helps users make smarter travel decisions through personalized itineraries, budget optimization, and real-time trip modification.

Problem

Travel planning today is fragmented and time-consuming. Users often switch between multiple platforms for flights, hotels, itineraries, and budget calculations, making the planning process overwhelming and inefficient. Existing booking platforms like Booking.com or MakeMyTrip help users book travel, but they do not help users make intelligent decisions before booking. Travelers still struggle with questions like: Where should I go? What fits my budget? Which hotel matches my travel style? How can I optimize costs? VoyageAI solves this problem for modern travelers by acting as an AI decision-making layer that simplifies planning, reduces decision fatigue, and creates personalized travel experiences.

Solution

VoyageAI is an AI-powered travel planning platform built to help users plan complete trips in seconds. The user starts with AI-powered onboarding where VoyageAI learns travel preferences such as budget, travel style, accommodation choices, and destination goals. Based on this, the AI generates a personalized trip plan including budget allocation, hotel recommendations, must-visit places, and a day-wise itinerary. A core feature is conversational trip modification, where users can interact with the AI assistant in natural language to adjust their trip in real time—for example, reducing budget, changing hotels, adding activities, or updating preferences. VoyageAI is built using Google Gemini AI models for intelligent reasoning, recommendation generation, budget optimization, and natural language interactions. The product UI and prototype flow were designed using Gemini AI Studio for rapid iteration and interactive product simulation.
