Goal OS is an AI-powered productivity platform that transforms ambitious goals into personalized daily, weekly, and monthly action plans while dynamically adapting the roadmap as progress changes.

Problem

Many people set ambitious goals but struggle to break them down into actionable steps, stay consistent, and recover when they fall behind. Existing productivity tools often require users to manually plan and reorganize tasks, which can be overwhelming and time-consuming. Goal OS solves this problem by using AI to automatically generate personalized daily, weekly, and monthly roadmaps for any goal, track progress, and dynamically recalculate the plan whenever users miss tasks, helping them stay focused and achieve their goals more effectively.

Solution

Goal OS is an AI-powered productivity platform that helps users achieve long-term goals through personalized planning and adaptive scheduling. Users enter their goal, deadline, available hours per day, and current skill level. The application then uses Generative AI powered by Groq AI (leveraging high-speed open-source language models) to create a customized roadmap consisting of monthly milestones, weekly objectives, and daily tasks. The frontend is built using React, while the backend uses Node.js and Express.js to manage API requests. MongoDB is used to store goals, tasks, progress, and AI-generated roadmaps. Users can track their progress by marking tasks as complete, and if they fall behind, the AI dynamically recalculates and redistributes pending tasks to generate an updated plan, ensuring they stay on track toward their goals.
